Our 48-hour protection promise.

What's covered

If, within 48 hours of confirmed pickup, you discover that an item is:

  • Significantly different from how it was described.
  • Non-functional when the listing claimed it worked.
  • Missing major parts or components.
  • Counterfeit or stolen.

...we'll mediate. If we determine the seller misrepresented the item, you'll receive a full refund and we'll recover funds from the seller.

What's not covered

  • Buyer's remorse.
  • Normal wear and tear consistent with the listed condition.
  • Cosmetic differences in photos vs. reality (if minor).
  • Items you bought sight-unseen against safety advice — please always inspect at pickup.
  • Free items (no payment, no protection — but report scams anyway).

How to file a claim

  1. Go to your purchase in your dashboard.
  2. Hit "Report a problem."
  3. Describe the issue with photos.
  4. We'll review within 24 hours and contact both parties.

Most claims resolve in 2–3 business days.

Sellers

The 48-hour window means you receive your payout 2 business days after pickup, not at pickup. This protects buyers and builds the trust that makes Gig Harbor Sales work for everyone.
