Plain English first.

What we collect

• Your email and phone number (for account creation and verification).
• Your name and pickup ZIP (so buyers know what general area you're in).
• Your profile photo and seller name (publicly visible).
• Listings, messages, ratings, and transaction history.
• Payment information (held by Stripe, not us — we don't store your card).
• Standard analytics: page views, device, anonymized IP. We use Plausible (privacy-first) and minimal Google Analytics.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your phone or email with other users — buyer/seller communication is email-masked.
• We don't show retargeting ads.
• We don't track you across other sites.

Who we share data with

• Stripe — for payment processing and identity verification. Your card never touches our servers.
• Resend — for transactional email (account verification, sale notifications).
• Telnyx — for SMS phone-verification codes.
• Cloudflare — for hosting and image storage.
• Supabase — for our database and authentication.
• Law enforcement — only when legally compelled (subpoena or warrant).

Your rights

You can: download your data, delete your account, opt out of marketing emails (transactional emails are required for service), and request specific data corrections. Email us at hello@gigharborsales.com.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for login, session, and CSRF protection. We do not use marketing cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookieless.

Children

Gig Harbor Sales is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If a minor's data is collected by mistake, we will delete it on request.
